  billy popped a pill
he knew he couldn't handle
   then the dog got hit
 runnin' the street
that boy limped home
    and he got him a treat
so i woke up late
    and left my bed unmade
 so I could come home
     and sleep again
some love too much
      others too little
both

 what held
